Ruben D. Torres

Atty. Torres is 83 years old, Filipino and was elected as Chairman and Director of Wellex Industries, Inc. He obtained his Degree in Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Bachelor of Laws in University of the Philippines. He is currently the Chairman/CEO of Services Exporters Risk Management & Consultancy Co., President of BPO Workers Association of the Phils., President/Director of Forum Pacific, Inc., President/Director of Pacific Concorde Corp, VP-International Affairs of Trade Union Congress of the Philippines, Senior Partner of Torres Caparas Torres Law Offices, Director of Waterfront Phils, Inc, Acesite Phils Hotel Corp. and Philippine Estates Corp., Chairman/Director of Waterfront Manila Premier Dev't Inc., Alliance Energy Power and Development Inc, Aristocrat Manila City Holdings, Inc., Taguig Lake City Dev't Corp and Triton Construction and Dev't Corp. and Corporate Secretary/Director of Wellex Mining  Corp.

Elvira A. Ting

Ms. Ting is 64 years old, a Filipino, was appointed as Vice President/Director of the company. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration Major in Management from Philippine School of Business Administration. Her experience encompasses a wide spectrum of industries from hotel, banks all the way to real estate business. Richard L. Ricardo

Mr. Ricardo is 62 years old, Filipino and was elected as President/Treasurer/Director/Investor Relations Officer of Wellex Industries, Inc and Philippine Estates Corp. He graduated with a degree of BS in Management Economics and AB in Economics at Ateneo De Manila University.  He is currently the Investor Relations Officer/Treasurer of Metro Alliance Holdings & Equities Corp. He is also the Chairman/President/Director of Dubai Gold Mining Corp, Corporate Secretary/Director of The Wellex Group, Inc, Westland Pacific Properties, Bocaue Prime Estate Corp., Taguig Lake City Dev't Corp., Shangrila Global Estate Ventures Corp. and Bulacan Country Garden Dev't Corp., Treasurer/Director of Wellex Petroleum, Inc, Pacific Wide Holdings Inc, Sands Mining & Dev’t Corp, Manila Bay Front Hotels, Inc. William T. Gatchalian

Mr. Gatchalian is 76 years old and has become widely known as the “Plastic King” and is currently the Chairman of The Wellex Group and one of the Director of Wellex Industries, Inc. The company he founded in 1969 in Valenzuela City starts as a small, family-owned business in the plastic industry. With only four machines and a minimal workforce, the company under Gatchalian’s astute management became a preferred supplier for pelletized plastic raw materials. It has since firmly established its leadership in the local plastic industry with the acquisition of several plastic plants and continued expansion from a modest warehouse into a 60-hectare industrial estate with a workforce of 1,000 people.  The late 1980’s saw Mr. Gatchalian’s long-held vision of a diversified group of companies gradually being realized, as he established a real estate development company, a bank, an airline, an oil exploration company, a newspaper publication, various hotels and casinos, a stock brokerage and a petrochemical plant. He is appointed as Chairman/Director of The Wellex Group Inc, Wellex Petroleum Inc, Manila Sands Hotel & Casino, Inc and Bulacan Harbour Dev’t Corp. and Director of Philippine International Airways.

Lamberto B. Mercado, Jr.

Atty. Mercado, Jr. is 60 years old, Filipino and was elected as Director. He is a Lawyer and Certified Public Accountant by profession. He took up Bachelor of Laws at Ateneo De Manila University and Bachelor of Commerce Major in Accounting at University of Sto. Tomas. He served as Deputy Administrator of Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) from 1997 to 1998. He seats on board of various companies ranging from hotels, manufacturing, mining and real estate. He is currently the Director of Forum Pacific, Inc., Philippine National Construction Corp, Sand Mining & Dev’t Corp, Wanda Prime Property Dev’t Inc, CPDSI, Asia Healthcare Inc, FEZ-EAC and Bulacan Country Garden Dev’t Corp. He was also appointed as Compliance Officer/Director of Metro Alliance Holdings & Equities Corp., Chief Risk Officer/ Director of Acesite (Phils) Hotels Corp, Assist Corporate Secretary of Rexlon Realty Group, Inc, Corporate Secretary/Director of Wellex Mining Corp, Southernpec Phils, Inc, Dubai Gold Mining Corp, Bulacan Harbour Dev’t Corp and Seabrook Resources & Dev’t Corp.

 

Omar M. Guinomla

Mr. Guinomla is 53 years old, Filipino and was elected as Director of the Company.  He graduated with Degree in AB Management at De La Salle University and Masters in Business Administration at Ateneo De Manila University.  His is currently the Director of Forum Pacific, Inc., Recovery Real Estate Corp, Pacific Rehouse Corp, Continental Wire & Cable Corp, Calinan Star Mining Inc, Dubai Gold Mining Corp. He was also appointed as Assist. Corporate Secretary of Orient Pacific Corp and Recovery Dev’t Corp, Treasurer/Director of Philippine International Airways and Silverquest Mining Resources Inc, Chairman/President/Director of Shanghai Resources Corp., Corporate Secretary/Director of Sands Mining & Dev’t Corp, Manila Bay Front Hotels Inc, Bulacan Fortune Land Dev’t Corp and Triton Construction & Dev’t Corp.

Sergio Antonio S. Ortiz-Luis

Mr. Sergio Antonio S. Ortiz-Luis, 50 years old, Filipino, is a graduate of Bachelor of Fine Arts at University of Santo Tomas. He obtained a Certification in Advance Marketing from Centenary University, Hackettstown, New Jersey, USA in 1997. He also attended various seminars such as In-Between Animation in Southern Lights Animation Studios in 1999, seminar on Renewable Energy and Recycling Trade Organization in Osaka, Japan in 2015 and he became a Master Trainer in International Labour Organization in 2022.

He is currently affiliated with the following companies: The Events Hive where he is the owner/proprietor since 2012; Canadian Tourism and Hospitality Institute (Director since 2015); Arena Island Beach Resorts, Inc. (Director/Vice President since 2022); Esports World Federation (Vice President since 2022); Toymanila (Director since 2010); Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry Youth Committee (Vice Chairman since 2022); Philippine Young Entrepreneurs Association – NCR (President since 2020); FirstKick For Peace (Vice President since 2017) and Brick Traders (Owner/Proprietor since 2019).

Aristeo  R.  Cruz

Atty. Cruz is 59 years old, Filipino and currently the Independent Director of Wellex Industries, Inc., Metro Alliance & Equities Holdings Corp., Forum Pacific, Inc. and Waterfront Phils., Inc. He is a CPA Lawyer and graduated with a Degree of Bachelor of Science in Commerce, Major in Accountancy at De La Salle University and Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in New Era University. He is currently Vice-Chairman/Director/Dean, College Department of Meycauayan College, Inc., Founding and Managing Partner of Cruz Altares & Association Law Office, Vice-President/Complier of Liberty Bank ( A Rural Bank), Inc., President and Chief Operating Officer of Idealland Realty & Dev't Corp and Statosphere Realty & Development Inc, Director and Corporate Secretary of Philstar Innovation Realty Corp., President of Jose & Luz Locsin Foundation and Waterstreet Realty Corp, Corporate Secretary of Justino Emilia Realty Corp and Director of Acesite Phils. Hotel Corp.

Renato C. Francisco

Mr. Francisco is a 76 yrs old, Filipino and a retired Judge. He was elected as Independent Director of Forum Pacific, Inc., Wellex Industries, Inc, Waterfront Phils, Inc, Philippine Estates Corp and Acesite (Phils) Hotel Corp. He obtained his Degree in Bachelor of Laws in year 1969-1973 at Ateneo de Manila University, Makati. He worked as an Associate Justice in Court of Appeals in 2012-2018 at Ermita, Manila. and a Presiding Judge in Malolos Bulacan, Regional Trial Court.

 

Josaias T. Dela Cruz

Mr. Dela Cruz is 64 years old, Filipino and was appointed independent director of Forum Pacific, Inc., Wellex Industries, Inc. and Phil. Estates Corp. He obtained his Master in Business Management in Asian Institute of Management. He graduated in Ateneo de Manila University with a Degree in Bachelor of Science in Business Management. He is currently the Treasurer/Vice President for Investor Relations and Financial Planning at Wegen Distributed Energy Phils. Holdings Corp and Sole Proprietor of JTDC Spinmaster Laundry Service.

Amando J. Ponsaran, Jr.

Mr Ponsaran, Jr. is 55 years old, Filipino and currently the Corporate Secretary/AMLA Compliance Officer of the Company. He is a graduate of the University of San Agustin- Major in Finance/Marketing and Bachelor of Laws in Arellano Law School/Philippine Christian University. He was appointed as Senior Manager – Corporate Services Group of Corporate Counsels, Phils Law Office, Assistant Corporate Secretary of Forum Pacific, Inc and Philippine Estates Corp.

Karen Mae S. Abarra

Ms. Abarra is 32 years old, graduated from San Beda College – Manila with a Bachelor of Science in Legal Management in 2014. She completed her legal education at the San Beda College-Alabang, where she received her Juris Doctor Degree in 2020. She was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2022.

 

Since joining the Firm, Ms. Abarra has been involved in litigation work, representing individuals and juridical entities in cases relating to civil, labor, and family law. She also handled foreclosure, expropriation, and recovery of possession cases. She prepares pleadings and other filings before judicial and bodies. Aside from court appearances, she also provides legal opinionsand contract review.

 

In the corporate law area, she assists the Firm’s clients in ensuring compliance with corporate governance and reportorial requirements of government regulatory agencies, such as the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Bureau of Internal Revenue.
